Monday morning starts a new beginning for us at Kettlebell Rebellion.

THE MCMINNVILLE KETTLEBELL CLUB 💣

I am so ready for it.

WHAT ARE THE BIGGEST CHANGES?

First and foremost the biggest change is that I will no longer let newbies train in a kettlebell group setting without prior experience. This means that all new McMinnville Kettlebell Club members will need to take anywhere from 3-6 private or semi private lessons before participating in any group meetups. This change is for several reasons, the biggest 2 being safety and skill. It is unsafe for someone to just jump right into a kettlebell class with no prior experience and having new people jump in also takes away from everyone else who showed up ready to go. If you are unsure how this may affect you directly, please reach out and lets talk about where your skills currently stand.

There is a huge difference in the learning curve when I compair people who have never taken private kettlebell lessons vs those who have. Those who have not taken private lessons can expect to have the same skill level in MONTHS vs. DAYS in people who have taken private lessons. That can not be ignored. Also, people who take private lessons tend to have way more confidence to continue their kettlebell journey on their own, even years later. People who never take privates usually stop swinging when they stop going to group classes for whatever reason.

They never get kettlebell fever....🤣

OTHER CHANGES

Starting monday there will be a few other changes... such as the structure and set-up of our Kettlebell Club meetups.

We will be starting each meetup with a training intention and some breath work. Is this super fucking woo woo, yes. Will there be cacao? Will there be cards? maybe lol. Regardless we are starting with intention and breath work each time.

We will also be creating our own mini courage corners on the mats when we arrive, rather than starting in a circle. You will gather your tools (kettlebells, bands, blocks, etc) and create your own micro zone. The focus for everyone should be on skills, technique, and the work we need to put forth that day. I believe tightening this up will help us stay better focused and improve our mind body connection; and lead to better results and better physical transformation. Which is why we are there in the first place.
